1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using NatureLens, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. The Service

NatureLens overlays natural, geographic, and ecological information — such as terrain, peaks, river flows, forest data, and carbon information — onto the real world using augmented reality and your device's location. Features and content may be changed, added, or removed over time.

3. Eligibility

The Service is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children. If you are under the age of 14, you may use the Service only with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian. By using the Service, you represent that you meet these requirements.

4. Accounts

Some features require an account. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, for keeping your credentials secure, and for all activity that occurs under your account. Please notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms.
• Interfere with, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems.
• Reverse engineer, scrape, or misuse data or content from the Service except as expressly permitted.
• Upload content that is unlawful, infringing, harmful, deceptive, or that violates the rights of others.
• Use the Service in a way that endangers yourself or others (see the Outdoor & Safety Disclaimer below).

6. User-Generated Content

You retain ownership of the content you create, such as reviews, notes, and photos. By submitting content to the Service, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, display, and use that content as necessary to operate and improve the Service. You are responsible for the content you submit and represent that you have the rights to share it.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its software, design, branding, and original content, is owned by the operator and protected by intellectual-property laws. Except for content you create, you may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without permission.

8. Third-Party Data & Accuracy

NatureLens displays information derived from third-party and public sources, including Korea Forest Service public data and map providers. This information is provided for educational and reference purposes only, may be incomplete or inaccurate, and may be out of date. Do not rely on it as an authoritative or sole source.

9. Outdoor & Safety Disclaimer

NatureLens is an educational and exploration aid, not a navigation, safety, or emergency tool. AR overlays, location data, elevation, and trail information may be inaccurate, delayed, or unavailable. Always remain aware of your surroundings, follow official signage and local regulations, do not use the app while driving or in hazardous terrain, and do not rely on the Service for navigation or in emergencies. You are solely responsible for your own safety.

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, including any reliance on the information it provides.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the operator from any claims, damages, or expenses arising out of your use of the Service, your content, or your violation of these Terms.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time if you violate these Terms or if necessary to protect the Service or its users. You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of the Republic of Korea.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may modify these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the date above and provide notice where appropriate. Your continued use of the Service after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
